Prof. Setareh Lavasani

Dr. Setareh Lavasani is a board certified Oral & Maxillofacial Radiologist. She is a full-time Associate Professor and the Director of Oral Radiology & Advanced Imaging at Western University of Health Sciences, College of Dental Medicine in California, USA. She is a fellow of the prestigious Global Dental Implant Academy and is an internationally recognized oral radiology CE course and workshop provider. She is a frequent presenter at the California Dental Association (CDA), UCLA AEGD residency program and the Global Dental Implant Academy. She has published multiple journal articles and book chapters including the first interactive oral radiology textbook “Fundamentals of Oral Radiology” and is a distinguished reviewer for the specialty OOOO journal. She is an honoree of the prestigious 40 under 40 best specialists in America 2019 published by Incisal Edge magazine. She is a member of the organizing committee of the ICDMFR/AAOMR and an active member of multiple standing committees at the American Academy of Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology, Tri-County dental society and the co-chair of Sponsorship and Commercial exhibition committee at the ICDMFR/AAOMR joint meeting.
