Poster Abstract Submission Guidelines

Abstract Submission Guidelines:

*(The term organizer means INDEX Conferences & Exhibitions Organisation Est.)

Abstract should not exceed 100 words. The abstract must be in English, font size 12 in Times New Roman font and with single-line spacing.
Your (presenter) abstract form must be accompanied by a complete conference registration form with payment.
Abstracts should be submitted by e-mail or through online submission at aeedccairo.com. Abstracts that are handwritten, or sent by fax will not be accepted.
Abstract content must meet the standard of an academic / scientific presentation. The outline must have an Introduction, Objectives, Materials and Methods, Results and Conclusions.
The abstract must be based on original research or original clinical case studies.
The AEEDC Scientific Advisory Committee will evaluate the content of each abstract and make the final selection of the abstracts for presentation.
No abstracts will be considered after 20^th September 2018.
For any withdrawals, the presenter should notify the *organizer in writing at least 2 months prior to the event.
The *organizer will not be responsible for any misplaced or damaged posters within the poster area.
The presentation must cover the same material as the abstract.
The two categories of poster: Poster Display and Poster Competition will be selected by AEDC Scientific Advisory Committee.

Poster Format and Presentation Guidelines:

After the submission of the abstract, the abstract will be reviewed by the committee, participants will be divided into two categories either poster display or poster competition and submitters will be informed accordingly.

General Guidelines;

Dimensions of the poster boards are 90cm (height) x 70cm (width), submitted as one piece.
Poster Orientation: Portrait format.
Poster Materials: Paper or cardboard and should be laminated.
Poster format should include Introduction, Objectives, Material and Methods, Results and Conclusions.
Poster Title: 30-35 font size in Arial Black – Body Text: 27-30 font size in Arial with single spacing.
Do not use all UPPER CASE character in your posters.
The images (clips arts, graphs, diagrams, and drawings) must be in high resolution EPS format (300 dpi).
Optional: Poster presenters who are interested in printing their poster through the *organizer, should submit it in Pdf. Format. The printing cost for each poster is 200 AED / 55 US$ which is to be paid in advanced.
Poster frames will be provided at the poster area. A double sided tape will be used to put your poster up. Please note that pins cannot be used on these poster frames.

Poster Display Guidelines:

All poster presenters should be present at their stands at either a) or b) or c) below mentioned timings every day in case other participants would like to ask questions. And presenters should keep the preferred time beside the poster every day for other participants to be aware of presenter’s availability.

All posters should be submitted one day before the event on 4^th February 2019 before 6:00 PM, posters should be submitted to scientific organizer’s office No. 8.2
All posters should be on display for the duration of the conference.
Posters should be taken down only at the end of the event.
All posters presenters will be responsible for the removal of their posters at the end of the conference and the organizers will not be responsible for loss or damage of posters.
Author(s) or Co-Authors who are registered for the conference will receive a certificate of appreciation.
Notification Letter will be provided to other Authors, Co- Authors & supervisors who are not registered.
Authors and Co- Authors names will be included in the booklet.

Poster Competition Guidelines:

Poster Presenters are to be available in AEEDC Conference Hall G in accordance to the announced time table (15 minutes before) to conduct their power point presentation (Projection Screen Ratio: 3:1).

Maximum of two poster presenters per submitted poster are to present to the judges.
Each poster competition presenters will be requested to present their poster in 7 minutes and will be followed by 3 minutes of discussion and Q & A Session.
All posters should be submitted one day before the event on 4^th February 2019 from 12:00 to 20:00 , posters should be submitted to scientific organizer’s office No. 8.2
The organizers will be available through the fixing process which will start from 12:00 until 20:00 of 4^th of February 2019.
All posters should be on display for the duration of the conference.
The judges will choose 3 winners & announce their names on 7^th of February 2019.
Posters should be taken down only at the end of the event.
All posters presenters will be responsible for the removal of their posters at the end of the conference and the organizers will not be responsible for loss or damage of posters.
Author(s) or Co-Authors who are registered for the conference will receive a certificate of appreciation.
Notification Letter will be provided to other Authors, Co- Authors & supervisors who are not registered.
Authors and Co- Authors names will be included in the booklet.

Poster Presentation 3rd Prize: Free registration on AEEDC Dubai 2020 and 25% discount on registration on (one) course of DWDM 2020.
